Early English Books Online (EEBO)

http://libraries.mit.edu/get/eebo searching of fulltext now possible through addition of text creation partnership in July 2005. A significant number of the works in the database are now linked to modernized transcriptions of the original pages. Texts may also be searched at the University of Michigan site. Contains scanned reproductions of the works of thousands of authors published prior to 1700 in all fields and genres. Overall dates of coverage: 1475-1700 .
